MAGIC AT PECKFORTON CASTLE// Tarporley
Robert and PJ tied the knot at Peckforton Castle in Tarporley located close to the city of Manchester. The medieval castle surrounded by woodland was a picture perfect backdrop for their fairytale wedding.
The day started with visiting PJ & the bridesmaids to photograph them getting ready. After I had shot the first look with PJ's brother, I popped in to capture Robert getting ready. The wedding kicked off with the ceremony taking place in the stunning Grand Hall, with its feature traditional stone walls, beautiful stained-glass windows and rustic mahogany beams. The speeches and dinner were spent in the Hexagonal room and the afternoon and evening party was spent across the rest of the castle. We used the castle's courtyard space to capture the group portraits, and architectural elements of the castle's walls and grounds were used to capture the lovely hero portraits of Robert & PJ.
The highlight of the day for me had to be the cutting of the lego topped wedding cake and PJ's reaction to the gigantic sword that they used to cut it! Oh and ending the night with a round of Jägerbombs was pretty fun too!
All in all, it was a fantastic and fun filled day and an honour to be a part of!
